Does anyone put inspirational quotes on bike ?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have a collection of custom top caps from purelycustom.com -> all with various sayings on them: "Pedal faster, embrace the pain", "HTFU, you big baby" & "Pain is temporary, quitting is forever". They're quite cheap and add a bit of bling to the bike as well

on the trainer I taped "today I do what you won't so tomorrow I do what you can't" for a while to the handlebars. Still could never stay on the thing for more than 30 minutes.

I once asked my coach if there was anything I should keep in mind for a TT I was doing, expecting her to tell me something about gearing or pacing or whatever. Instead she responded, "Yes, you should write 'I am the best bike racer in the world. I will ****ing crush everybody' and tape it to your top tube."

I once stuck on my handle bars how old I was gunna be on my following birthday, obviously as a reminder that I was getting old and that I should make the most of it. It didn't work.

Mine says "handbuilt in the USA". After reading the generic carbon thread that's pretty inspirational to me.

My SS says "I sell crack for the CIA" along the top tube. I don't find it all that inspirational.

I wouldn't be able to read it because I go so fast my bike is a blur even to me. Something about ripping a hole in the space time continuum. Oh ok, no quotes. Just my name on a sticker that reminds me that I race. I pedal faster to justify having it on there. GL

After my bro moved to VT, I brought up an old Schwinn Letour Luxe to ride when I visit. I put decal letters with "Vermont or Bust" and "Green Mountain Special" on the top tube.

1. Shrunk it jjjjuuussstttt for you 2. You never know, but the only way it will be possible is if Nasri and Fabianski are fit to play and Arshavin starts performing like he used to 3. as for the game against Barcelona...well thats going to be a bit of a struggle.

Which club (if any) do you support?

Reminds me of a Radiolab show. They did a study that found that many of the top performing athletes and most successful people in business had the greatest ability to lie to themselves and actually believe their own lies. I guess that's why I was never a superstar athlete, I would say to myself "You're the best!" and then answer myself "what a load of BS"
