Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

trainer compatibility

i just bought a Minoura mag trainer and was wondering it will fit my old schwinn world sport 10 speed. i was just thinking it would save tires/wear and tear on my road bike.

Can't answer you about the compatibility, but you have the trainer and bike, so hook 'em up!

And I've actually never used a trainer, but I've heard that -- depending on the roller -- you may actually cause more wear and damage to your wheels than being on the open road.
