Prolly doesn't belong in Road forums, but ridiculous nonetheless. I've seen another vid like this from a Red Bull 'urban downhill' event. Crazy, those downhillers are.

Wow ... 2:27 got my attention. Helmet-cam view is pretty impressive.

This would never happen in the states. Way too dangerous. That one part where he narrowly misses the giant concrete tube laying in the side of the course!!??? WTF? They couldn't move that out of the way. Just crazy.

I would never have the balls to do this. You can hear the rider chuckle after landing that big jump at the 2:30 sec mark. Had he not landed it, he would have taken all those spectators with him =)

It's the Valparaiso Cerro Abajo 2010 in Valparaiso, Chile. I just found this post with a little background info on the race: https://www.ridemonkey.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=229075

It's not too much different than riding that close to trees and boulders here in SoCal. Mad skills and cool video.

You gotta love those open sewers on the side of the street too. Not enough to break your leg, you'll probably get E. coli too.
