Crazy VCA Race (video)

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Prolly doesn't belong in Road forums, but ridiculous nonetheless. I've seen another vid like this from a Red Bull 'urban downhill' event. Crazy, those downhillers are.

:40 mark...dog just strolls into the path and the dude avoids and passes him. Won't be long before some serious injuries or death occur with that setup.

This would never happen in the states. Way too dangerous. That one part where he narrowly misses the giant concrete tube laying in the side of the course!!??? WTF? They couldn't move that out of the way. Just crazy.

He mentioned he was going to a wedding afterwards.

I would never have the balls to do this. You can hear the rider chuckle after landing that big jump at the 2:30 sec mark. Had he not landed it, he would have taken all those spectators with him =)

It's not too much different than riding that close to trees and boulders here in SoCal. Mad skills and cool video.

You gotta love those open sewers on the side of the street too. Not enough to break your leg, you'll probably get E. coli too.
