Are you asking if you're worth it? If so, then no, you're not worthy of that bike 
If you're selling it to make room for your CAAD, then yeah, I'd say $400 is a great price and you shouldn't have trouble selling that (considering people are listing 40 year old rusted schwinns for $150 on CL).

Depends. Is that yours that you're trying to sell, or someone else's you're trying to buy? If there's nothing obviously broken or cracked, $400 seems a fair selling price, but a buyer like me would offer less, simply out of principle.

yea that sick bar tape was $1.50 at the LBS and yes I sold it for 400 yesterday and its so I can reasonably afford the CAAD. I just feel like it wasnt worth the 400 I sold it for

I have that same bar tape on my commuter, but the difference is that my commuter is an 80's Schwinn with a black paint job and yellow decals.

I sold my 2010 Trek 1.1 for $500.00 on Craigslist two weeks ago. So yes $400.00 is worth it.
