Dents in Rims
Hi all.
Fairly new to the wonderful world of road cycling but loving every minute!
I was replacing a flat this evening and noticed a dint on my rim. I probably obtained it riding through that lovely, sharp, deep pothole last night!
Anyway, should I be worried? I've tried my best to un-dent (is that even a word?!) it but there's only so much it'll budge back.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
PS. I ride a Trek 1.1.

If you hit a pothole, then it's probably a "flatspot". They can sometimes be fixed, or at least improved, but "it depends". Sometimes it can be done playing with spoke tension, sometimes you need to use a puller, sometimes you're SOL.
