Thule options for deep section wheels

I just purchased a Zipp 808 rear wheel, and though it hasn't arrived yet, I'm wondering whether or not my Thule Echelon rack will be able to strap down over such a deep wheel. So I guess I'm asking whether or not it will work and if it doesn't what solutions there may be?

You could always put a training wheel on and put the bike in the rack. Then put the zipp in the trunk

I was seriously scared when I first read this. I thought you bought an 808 and was wondering if you could put a rear rack on your bike! :twitchy:

Last week, I saw him and he'd put Zipp 404 clinchers on it. I was seriously tempted to turn around when we passed and ask him WTF? but it's his money, and nothing productive would have come of it.
