Finally replaced my LeMond Tourmalet!!

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Umm, if so, can I have the bike?

What? Too early? Never mind, the frame size looks too big for me any way.

Brian, I'm glad to hear that you finally found a replacement for the LeMond, and more importantly, that the move to Canada was worth it (and I'm not referring to the bike).

Thank you Rich,
I am glad you remember that. My move here has been all I hoped for thus far. I am very happy here and my girlfriend makes my life better...even without doing stuff like this. I am so excited though, as the roads up here are wonderful and I have found lots of hills (which I hate). I still do miss my beloved LeMond, especially since I don't see many of them up here...this Cannondale will put my mind at ease for sure.

Cheers,

Brian J.

ohhh.. nice ride +1 .. Now if I were 20 years younger..

And since we got snow last night.. it looks like it's going to be a couple more weeks yet.. gotta wait for all that salt to get washed off the roads.

Very nice bike!
Are you looking to join a club?
Yes I am looking into doing just that. I am in Burlington and did not even look at clubs at the show...which is one of the things I went there for.

Cheers,

Brian J.
