Finally replaced my LeMond Tourmalet!!

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Finally replaced my LeMond Tourmalet!!

Well I went to the Toronto International Bike Show today, with my girlfriend, just to look around, I SWEAR!.!After about an hour or so I walked by a Cannondale dealer and saw the bike I had been wanting since I lost my LeMond. Well, lo and behold, my amazing girlfriend informed me that I could have an early birthday present. I was flabbergasted and ended up rolling one of these out.....All stock at the moment, clipless pedals coming soon, during my fitting in a couple of weeks.

Here it is.....

Cheers,

Brian J.

+1 gazillian.

I have one of those. She tolerates my telling her the specs and benefits of a product.
Sent me a picture of a wedding ring with a carbon inlay. She was listening.

I gotta tell ya, this was a total surprise. I thought we were going just to look at bikes and for me to pick up some club brochures (which I never did). She really knocked me for a loop when she said I could take it home and bought it for me. She really wanted to wait for my birthday so I could have a special day but the deal was too good to pass up today. I told her that everyday Iam on that beauty will be a special day. I am a very lucky guy for sure.

Cheers,

Brian J.

Do you see what the real story here is Brian?
Not replacing your Lemond, but your girlfriend's heart.
And the bike is nice too.

Indeed! But i did know this. However, we all need reminders from time to time. Thanks for doing that for me.
