big mistake

Selling my bike in order to better afford my new one which has not arrived was the biggest mistake! all I want to do is ride now that it is semi-nice outside and I cant at all, its driving me crazy

LOL fail.

It happens. Just be glad you actually sold your old bike and that you will be able to enjoy the new one when you get it. Some time off the bike is usually beneficial anyways, so don't worry, you'll have the new lad soon!

I don't think that is as bad as having a brand new bike sitting in your living room waiting for it's first mile outside. Mine is new Jan 18th 2011 and it has not seen the outside yet due to snow, ice, sand and salt. I can only sit on it and the trainer.

It's sitting in your living room, and you sit on it when you're not riding it on the trainer?

This is why the correct number of bikes one should own is N+1.

This is exactly what I was telling myself when I was resisting the sale of the 1.1 but it was necessary... and lets get real. the 1.1 sucks

That's why God gave you two kidneys: you sell the extra kidney instead of the bike to finance the new bike... plus you lose about 100 grams along the way.

Why stop at kidneys?

I hear a lung would buy you a really nice bike. Plus, it's kind of like altitude training to train with just one. Puts hair on your chest.

gazelle5333 03-06-11 11:00 PM

what's the new ride?

captnfantastic 03-06-11 11:32 PM

I had 5 bikes sitting the garage for a month and a half while I sat around with a broken ankle. I think that's just as bad, if not worse
