Fauxto's New Ride

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fauxto's New Ride

16.4 lbs with full DA 7800, alloy bars and stem, cromo Speedplays. Seat post is cracked so going to be changing that soon, most likely to a Thomson Masterpiece or a carbon option. Cutting the extra two spacers off soon.

Also if anyone has a 27.2 seat post at least 300 mm long with no more than a 20mm set back and less than 210 grams, I'd be willing to take it off your hands. Can't be a 3T, needs to work with Fizik carbon rails.

I race with La Grange, this is the 2011 frameset and it's likely you will see few of these on the road in the hands of non La Grangers compared to previous framesets.

I thought the frame was supposed to be a dark blue color? Looks good either way.

The photos make the paint look darker than it is.

The finish is similar to an egg-shell and the color is like a Navy/Midnight Blue.
