Last week...
I just tabulated my mileage for last week. Despite the weather and working full-time I managed to hammer out 300 km. I had to double check, because it didn't seem like that much. Is anyone else's average weekly mileage changing due to the weather? Up or down?

My mileage is down but I don't keep good records. With fading daylight my after-work rides are an hour and a half at best. Mostly I am missing the way-hard Wednesday night ride.
Saturday I got out with the regulars for 75 miles of mayhem. On the last climb my good buddy George and I were going at it tooth and nail. He nipped my by a bike length. I was so spent when I got home I could barely get off the bike... I still hurt!

Excellent. Sounds like you're toughing through the weather with the die-hards. Every night last week was miserable weather except Thursday, which was our group ride. I doubt 1/2 of them would have came if the weather was the wet/windy usual.

I envy you. I've only been hampered by rain and cool temps. Combined with work schedules and commitments, and it's been enough to give me the reasoning to stay off the bike this past week.
I've consoled myself by purchasing riding gloves and toe wraps in preparation for the cooler climates. Rain forecast again for my normal riding days. Drat!

Since we don't get snow here and can ride year round, either have to suck it up now or be a princess and stick to the trainer. 4 months of rain and wind and more rain. Yuck.
