Especially when he is mentored by "old dopers".
I, for one, is resigned to the fact that professional cycling can never be totally clean. I think what they mean by pro cycling clean, are performance enhancers that are a step ahead of the testing protocols.

Totally green.
We'll see how bad the kid wants to win or whether he will fade away quietly into the domestique sunset...

"Levi is the consummate professional. No one trains the way he does, especially when he’s coming into races he’s passionate about."
Sure...
"You have to reset your limits. You have to go beyond them."
Wonder what that entails...

Ah...He sounds like a young Jose Canseco.
I imagine that when you're a 22 year old pro cyclist you can talk this way.
When you are 33 and the 22 years olds start passing you and your team spot isn't guaranteed any more, you think differently. You want just a little something to get your legs back. To make the pain a bit more bearable. So you can have just one more season on the bike. One last shot at that tour win.

Talansky can speak this way because he has absolutely nothing to lose. He has much less life experience compared to a seasoned veteran, he hasn't won anything major.
He will eventually be hit with reality and have to choose whether or not "winning" is worth it and at what cost.

Let people dope if they choose to. That seems like a decent enough way to get people to stop complaining about it.

According to that, they can't turn a new page yet, maybe tomorrow?
