Looking for full zip jerseys

Why are full-zip cycling jerseys so hard to find? They are just so much easier to use.

Any good vendors out there?

Bob Dopolina 04-08-11 10:19 AM

Yes.

By vendors do you mean factories that sell to companies or factories that sell to end users?

Do you want one jersey or 30?

Will you accept any design or do you want your own?

DGonzalez 04-08-11 10:25 AM

Yikes! I just want to buy jerseys for my own use. I prefer to have designs and not solid colors. A regular store or business will suffice.

Am I missing something? Why not just do a Google Shopping search for "full zip cycling jersey," and peruse the 11,400 results? Most manufacturers offer some full zip jerseys and for each jersey that fills the bill, there are several places you can buy it.

Not sure where you're looking but full zip jerseys are pretty common at bike shops.

I own full-zip jerseys from many different brands: Pearl Izumi, Sugoi, Castelli, Voler, Santini. If your shop doesn't carry them, they won't you're interested know if you don't ask.

Castelli makes full zip jerseys that I like. They retail for like $100, but you can find them on Bonktown for like $36.

Their sizes are a little small, I'm 5' 11" and about 150 lbs and a large fits me perfectly. (I also wear a medium in their bibs which I recommend as well.)

I have perused Google searches and not found much. That is why the question was posted.

Seriously? Castelli, Giordana, Craft, PI, Bellwether, Sugoi, Zoot, Descente all make good quality stuff that you couldn't find with a simple google search?

You're not looking hard enough.

tpelle 04-08-11 01:56 PM

Full-zip jerseys are all I own, and except for the Over 50 forum jersey I bought off of this site, I got the rest from Performance and Nashbar.

JustinHorne 04-08-11 04:14 PM

+1 for Castelli. I'm 6ft, about 165, and I wear a medium. It's snug the way it should be, imo.

cooleric1234 04-08-11 04:42 PM

Performance Bike has a full zip jersey that's reasonably priced, I like it.

RacerOne 04-08-11 11:41 PM

The only drawback I've found to full zips is that sometimes getting the zippers started can be a real pain. They're so tiny I'm afraid they'll break.

wrr1020 04-08-11 11:51 PM

Look on real cyclist and PBK, have tons of full zip jerseys from all the big brands.

catonec 04-09-11 12:05 AM

nashbar

colombo357 04-09-11 02:39 AM

Every jersey I've purchased in the last 5 years has been full zip. They were very easy to find.

DGonzalez 04-09-11 11:02 AM

I guess I am the only one having a hard time finding full zip jerseys. BTW, I usually use Xl or XXl and I prefer some sort of design. That could be the problem.

slipstream8 04-09-11 11:15 AM

That is not the problem.

In addition to the brands already mentioned, Capo and Louis Garneau also make full zip jerseys with designs. Check the Excel Sports, Competitive Cyclist, or Colorado Cyclist websites.
