Opinion: Campy Neutron Wheels

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Opinion: Campy Neutron Wheels

Hi all,
Someone on CL locally is offering to sell me a set of Campy Neutron Ultra Wheels with Carbon hubs + Skewers. They have about 3 seasons on them. With extra spokes, good amount of mileage he claims. For about $200.

https://www.campagnolo.com/jsp/en/whe...p_catid_11.jsp

Do people think this is a good deal? Seems like these wheels are expensive new..

Yay or nay?

If they are not banged up, that's a great price for the carbon hubbed Neutrons, I think.

Very tough wheel that has been used in the spring classics including races with cobblestones.

Good deal. I'd jump on them for $200 if I didn't have SRAM

They are only good for about 4 billion miles so you might want to check the mileage. Otherwise, jump all over them. They are the most reliable wheels I have owned.

Go for it at that price. I got a set of Scrioccos for about 150 and they are really good wheels for the price. I can only imagine that these would be even better.
