Men's Only Forum?
I suggested this a year or two ago, and it got shot down.
But I think it's worth considering.
The women have a women's only forum where they can talk frankly about female specific issues without harassment etc. from us guys.
I think we should have a men's only room. We can talk about concerns with our junk, our numbnuts, maybe even rate the podium girls, tell some off-color cycling related jokes and basically be just guys.
We can call it "The Locker Room."
I am not suggesting this is a place for woman-bashing and any truly misogynistic postings would not be tolerated.
Oh yeah, ****.
But seriously, think about it.

The Locker Room sounds gay bar name. Not that there is any thing wrong with that. I just don't see it happening. Why would I want to go to a guy only forum? I want to get in the women only forum though for sure

Look we can call it anything we want.
I actually want MORE women in the 41, but comments about junk and liz hatch's saddle etc. are not helping.
This would be a "safe" place to contain these types of discussions.
I think it makes sense but WTF do I know?

Agree for males it's called bike forums, and roadbikereview forum, and serotta forum, and ,,, all of them are probably 99% male. I suspect the request for a women's only forum is so they don't have to screen every post for something more related to their needs. On the other hand they could just go to the forums at Terry.

At times, yes. There are some rare jewels in here but lots of junk about "junk" of late.

Not many but we want to keep the few we have.
Jen, for example, is not leaving but to be candid if I were a newbie female cyclist in here I might be offended by some of the postings and look elsewhere.

I could have done without all the fuss about my fit picture posted in addiction. Not enough to black triangle anything, but you know.
