need cheap form fitting jerseys
I generally put my daily miles in by extending my morning commute into a 20-30 mile ride. I keep my work clothes at work, and I don't cart any work items back and forth, so most days its just my money, keys, ipod, cell, and lunch (usually a sandwich and another baggie with veggies or fruit of some kind) stuffed in the back jersey pockets.
I am sick and tired of carrying this load around in cheap saggy "club fit" jerseys. My items just slosh around back there and its driving me nuts. Lately I have been wearing my more expensive weekend "race" jersey for commuting because it holds everything in place much better.
What I need are a few reasonably priced form fitting jerseys for weekday commutting so I don't have to wash my nice weekend "race-fit" jersey every day. Any suggestions?
For reference..if anyone uses Performance Ultra II jerseys...I have a two of those and they are OK, but just a bit too loose for my liking. Something a bit more form fitting would work perfectly. The Voler catalog has a few "race" jerseys that fit me well, but I'm not going to pay $79 for a daily "commuting" jersey if I don't need to. There are a lot of reasonably priced jerseys out there...for instance the Hammer Jerseys look nice, but no indication of the type of fit.

The Hammer Nutrition jerseys have a nice snug fit. They fit similar to my Castelli jerseys. Bonktown has some castelli jerseys pop up here and there for $39 sometimes, just be on the lookout.

The local Academy stores here have some Canari jerseys pretty cheap.

Voler store has racks of seconds, blems, etc., about $25/ea
The shorts and bibs bins are usually empty, always tons of jerseys.

Not sure if it's form fitting enough (buy a size smaller) but the Performance elite jersey isn't a bad deal.

good stuff, form fitting is a matter of where you fall on the size/cut
these are 'form'/race fit
medium is prolly like a euro 4... and they fit a long torso well. I'm the opposite, but I'm used to folding jerseys under. solid fabric, good zips, nice pockets, not ugly graphics
would call them warm weather suitable
only thing is they are the modern fabrics - I still prefer coolmax stuff...
I'm especially fond of their Euro Pro L/S jersey - light weight, mostly white and really great on a long, hot, very sunny ride.
yes, I Did say L/S - way cooler than bare arms... great if your skin is prone to sun damage.

No thanks. I bought a pair of their winter tights once and they sucked so hard I abandoned my ride after a few miles. The fit was just way off...waste and legs were tight, but felt like they were made for Fat Albert in between. They also had a major "plumbers butt" problem...had to stop every few minutes and put my ass crack back into the damn things.
