any ideas

which bike frame do you suggest for a friend of mine hes 312#'s money is thight for him steel i guess is best what do you guys think.

I started riding at that weight (310lb), and it was on a Giant OCR1 (Alum), They bike was fine and the wheels held fine.. Now, 100lb lighter, I ride a custom steel bike..
