How do I get the "whoosh whoosh" sound that deep wheels make on the cheap?

How do I get the "whoosh whoosh" sound that deep wheels make on the cheap?
I can now sustain 25 mph on the flats solo for short periods (1 to 3 min) but I can't seem to get the whoosh whoosh sound off my Ksyrium SL's. But I can hear the whoosh whoosh sound off some chubbier riders with zipps even when they're going 15-18 mph (paced according to my edge).
I presume the sound is created by the deep section rim "slicing" through the wind, although I suspect it might be a carbon thing as well. My AC 420 Aero 3's didn't make the whoosh whoosh sound at speed but they were only 34 mm and aluminum.
Does anyone have an .mp3 of the whoosh whoosh sound so I can play it on my iphone? And is there an app that will play the sound automatically once I reach a certain speed? I have no desire for carbon wheels right now but I do have some Soul S4.0's on the way.

Hmm. You're right. My training wheels are Ksryium SL's and my race wheels are 50mm carbon tubulars. Now that I think about it, the carbons go whoosh whoosh and the Mavics do not.

Sorry, if you want the whoosh whoosh you need to shell out for the carbon wheels. Or race a TT with people a lot faster than you--then you'll hear the whoosh whoosh a lot.

But why stop at the whoosh whoosh?? You really haven't lived until you warn your minuteman prey of your arrival with the swarm-of-angry-hornets sound of a disc.

Soul S4.0 is the correct answer to this question.

I guess you could always steal a pair of 808s... that makes them pretty cheap--if you don't get caught.

I bet with the right kind of cardboard in the spokes you could get whatever sound you wanted.

Here's an idea: take your current rear wheel off the bike and whack yourself repeatedly over the head until one of two things happens: a) the spokes break and you have to buy a new aero wheel or b) you knock some sense into yourself and decide it isn't worth it.

Back in the old days we just strapped a ghettoblaster to the rear rack, and played Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries".

Come to think of it, you may start hearing that whoosh whoosh in your head all the time if you try that.

Heck, I still like to take a cloths pin and put playing cards on my fork so that hit the spokes. Gets lots of weird looks on group rides, but I like it.

I wish I had a bike that makes no sound. Chain is all I can handle and I like the minimal noise of DT shifters.
Silencio is where it's at. Last time I heard a whoosh was a 44 ounce big gulp flying by my head.
