Just discovered it from a friend, curious if anyone here had ever heard of it.
It's convenient for keeping routes/times/mileage organized.

I hate getting e-mails like that.
But then again, I hardly use e-mail in the first place, so what do I care?

I just started using it myself, due to a friend sending me a map.
Their "offers" to upgrade are annoying, but I've dealt with worse.

Yep, I use it just about all the time, it nice to be able to keep track of where and how far I've ridden.

I use it for every ride. If I ride somewhere without cell signal, I simply log my route manually when I get home. It is a great tool to track your increase in speed, as well as track your weekly and monthly mileage totals. If you set it up right, you can run the same route several times to see how you progress each ride.

bragging rights? That sounds like something a teenage cycling novice would do. Side note, took my buddy out who is a few years younger than me, he spent the next 48 hours telling everyone he met at every chance he got that he rode a bike for 25 miles. Little did he know that was a short ride. lol

Pretty neat. Will it track my average speed?

If you have an iPhone or similar device with GPS, yes it will track your ride including the math for your average speed, minutes per mile, elevation, total time, etc. I find it to be very accurate and easy to use. Best feature is that it costs free dollars.

One day I will get it, but it is not on the list at the moment. It probably should be as I killed my cell phone when it fell out of my jersey pocket last week.

My favorite feature is the gear tracker. I don't think it works on the new site so I've been using the classic version. It's good for keeping tabs on chains and cassettes. You can set the mileage you want to be notified on any piece of equipment as well.
Classic version
Click on Gear
I prefer mapping on Ride With GPS but I don't like tracking workouts on there. It requires GPS info or a map. Logging gym workouts is easier to do with mapmyride as well.

I use it, but their website seems to get more bloated and becomes a bigger PITA to use every time they update it. It was great back when it was still routeslip

Saw the ad, signed up, downloaded the app. Never used it because Cyclemeter for iPhone is so much better. If only it had auto upload to ridewithgps. I really fancy a Garmin 800, but only when my bike costs more than the computer.

^^^This right there. I hate the newest rendition - I always go to classic...and yes, I dislike the "Sick of getting stabbed in the eye with a pen? Then upgrade to Platinum!" bollocks as well...
