This Sport Is Way Too Addictive
long story short: went down on our Wednesday might shop ride at 23 mph or so....pic shows my left collarbone....and by Friday I was already antsy to get my bike at least on the trainer. Am I completely off my rocker? My wife sure thinks so. What say the collective BF wisdom?

Spock, just curious... who has decoded your binary signature? I just did... was Very bored... I would argue that It's NOT just a ride. As for the OP, seriously... heal, can you imagine what everyone will think when you fall because you can't ride properly and you break it even worse?! read some bicycle porn or something.

If you were bored even more, you might have decided to Google it. It's a quote from one of my favourite comedians. There is more to it than that.

Off your rocker? No.
With a collarbone, I've typically heard that you can be back on the trainer in a week, and back on the bike within 4-6 weeks...so...your summer isn't a total wreck. Pun intended.
Actually, this might be a great opportunity to work on weaknesses through trainer specific workouts. Check with the doc and see if he'll clear it.
If life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Then throw it squarely in the face of your riding partners.

Absolutely inexcusable not to be out in a thunderstorm riding with the little flesh wound.

as for riding, I am not so silly as to want to be out on the road......but there is nothing wrong with my legs....nor lungs....just need something non-jarring where I can use both. Long walk this am helped a bit but did nothing to up my heart rate.
