Does anyone know where I can find a bottom bracket to fit about a '73 Firenze GL 2000?

What is the width of your BB shell, what kind of threading does your frame take, what type of spindle do you need, and what length of spindle do you need?

Once you know the data for these four questions you can go to Phil Wood, Kriss King, or Shimano and select your BB cartrige.

A good way to find the answers is to take apart your current BB and analyze it. You should only need to take off the crank arms to find out everything you need to know. BB threading will depend on frame specs which you may be able to find in a cataloge your bicycle is listed in.
