SRAM Force Chainring questons

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

SRAM Force Chainring questons

I bought a 50T chainring for a compact crank but it says for 34t only. What is the difference in the 50t's for a 36t and a 34t? What will happen if I put a 36t on the 50t I have?

My old ring say "TNT", the new ring just says 'ANONDIZED". Is there a difference besides the color?

It'll be fine. I just swapped out my 50t ring for a 52t with my 34t and it shifts perfectly. It's just that sometimes the difference between rings can be too big and it'll throw the chain off if you shift. Just made sure your BCD is the same.

the difference is in the pinning and ramping used to make shifts smoother. You really need to match the rings to their counterparts appropriately or the shifting quality will deteriorate.

Sram uses the same chainrings for all their road gruppos except for Red I believe.
