Does di2 weigh significantly more than an Ultegra/Rival setup? I'd imagine eliminating the derailleur cables would reduce weight by quite a bit.

I don't know if I posted this already but we're keeping this guy:
He's very well behaved and we've gone on a 3 mile run every day since we had him (last Thursady). Getting him neutered early next week. If the owners ever show up, they probably aren't getting him back. He had SEVERE ear infections and was emaciated and 10lbs underweight. And nobody has been looking for him.

Di2 is set at a price point well over Ultegra, and Rival. It's weight should be compared with it's real rivals Red, and SR11, which it costs nearly twice as much as both of them. Here are weights according to CC, Shifters, derailleurs, and cassette (I left out brakes, chains, and cranks, because there are lighter choices available for all):
Red: 701g
Di2: 939g
SR11: 757g
That's over half a pound more than Red.

today was day 3 of hard riding...total 500ish tss. thur night practice crit. 2nd highest 20 min power of 285 new 60 min PR of 265 norm power 300...I may need to adjust the ftp. or break down and do that darn test. IF 1.121 for 75 min which included a 15 min warm up which is in theory impossible (i think).

Correct, I did. Also Pearl Jam's first album "Ten" was quite epic, but the rest of their work was garbage. Have you heard any of the new post Layne AIC? I wasn't very impressed, but I give them credit for trying to move on.

"Ten" is the benchmark for Pearl Jam; with as good as it is, it is no wonder that everything else after pales in comparison. Why is it that a majority of the bands mentioned all tailed off after their debut albums?

I will have to disagree, a little. Vs. and Vitalogy have several good tunes on them; not the total album like Ten, but they do have several. After these though, they do head down hill quite fast.

I just got the 03-987 Grey smoke frames with clear/black iridium photochromic lens. My only regret is that they aren't polarized, but I can see myself wearing these lens for almost all of my riding. They go from 10% to 66% light transmission levels...the only Flak Jacket lens that is darker is the polarized black iridiums

I've got those lenses also, and really like them. I keep going back to my black iridium polarized for most of my riding. However commuting to work is such a crap-shoot with the sun, so I've been using photochromic lenses...the G40 ones. When Oakley announced the clear/black iridium Transitions photochromic's I knew I wanted to give them a try. They haven't been available for purchase from Oakley yet ($145 MSRP) so when I was able to get the full set of glasses, plus case on eBay for $169, I jumped on it. They just arrived today, so I haven't been able to ride with them yet. One thing I found a little odd...they came with a "nano-clear hydrophobic" pen that you can use to put the water repellent coating on them...that coating seems to be built-in to the other Oakley lens.
I just wish they could have them in polarized...oh well, I'm sure that'll be their next "improvement" which will mean another purchase.
