My first Century! :) Hilly one, too!
Just sharing today's ride; my first century. I'm really pumped about it! BF comments appreciated!
https://connect.garmin.com/activity/91979718
Had a front flat at around mile 26. At mile 50 or so, I missed a turn!! Thankfully I realized it quick enough.
The groups I latched onto on the beginning were kind of too slow and I kept going, rode solo a lot and then found some strong guys at around mile 52. We worked together until mile 80, when one of them got a flat. Good because I was suffering.
Anyway, I was really surprised with the overall pace.
Thanks!

Congrats. Did your quads swell up and kinda burn. I've never done 100 but I did 70 at one time and mine were on fire. But I will do 100 this year. I just gotta find 100 miles of road.

The Drive Side is Within
Sounds like a nice ride! I grew up a little south of there- PA/DE/MD have some nice riding. I'm sur the lay of the land there is much of the reason I'm a cyclist today.

Nice ride -I actually passed some guys doing the Tour right at Valley Forge Park/23 going the other way on my training ride. The rolling hills in that area are fun!

This area is great indeed!
I think I saw you going the opposite way, trailblazer!!
Here are some pics as per a request. Notice the delicious food spread including some nice cheese! I joked and asked the one lady if she had a beer. She replied- no but I have this bottle of Merlot, want some?! It was only mile 20 so I refused it.
