Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It is the most reliable way to put him to sleep. I get to ride my bike, he gets the nap he needs, and his momma gets a break… everybody wins!

Same spot as my last post (Ravine Lake, Far Hills, NJ), but a better photo. It’s hard to tell the trees from the reflection.

Sunrise over Utah’s Great Salt Lake (Farmington Bay, to be exact).

Here’s roughly the same spot a few hours later, just a different camera angle. The mountains in the right side background are Antelope Island. Darker ones on the left horizon are the Oquirrh Range, west of Salt Lake City.

Specialized Sequoia 650b Framed by the High Bridge

Just another beautiful day in Saint Paul. We have been spoiled by the weather lately.

I wonder what this portends for winter... ?
