There is a heron that has been hanging out at the duck pond near my house because this summer's drought conditions dried up his home near the MUP. I though I would get his picture with my Raleigh but he would not have any part of it. The ducks though flocked to my bike like it was made of corn.

A gum walled beauty - the white bar tape really does it on this classic bike. Great composition both pics, an example why I like this thread so much.

On the Snake River in Washington, between Clarkston and Asotin. The promontory down the river is called Swallow’s Nest. My wife and I were visiting family and friends in the area of our misspent youth. This was wild river then, but the Army Corps of Engineers built a dam down the Snake from here that flooded all the places we spent our summer days and nights. But they did leave us an excellent paved trail along their levees.
