Photos of YOUR bicycle near WATER

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My wife thinks I am crazy because my idea of a relaxing morning involves getting up at 4:30 and biking out to Pointe des Chenes to enjoy a Thermos of coffee.

When my alarm goes off at 4:30am on Saturday, I also get the, "are you seriously going to ride your bike right now?" groan.
"Yep!"

Then when I get home at 9, "oh, home so soon!" (still in bed with the dogs)
"I just rode for over 3 hours!"

It is my bicycle...and indeed it is near water...I was actually looking for a picture I have somewhere I took of my road bike near a lake, but all I could find is this.

There's nothing like the feeling of biking till you run out of road.... especially when this is what you have at the end of the road

In Eureka, CA. The smokestack in the background is from a pulp mill which thankfully went out of business several years ago. Now the air is fresh again.
