Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

How about along the James River, here in Richmond, Virginia?

Let's show some "old school" love for classic, steel framed, Fuji road bikes!

Nice shots but when you stage the bike for a photo you should shoot it on the drive train side.

Frame is a Pure Fix with a cinelli stem and bars, IRD crank. The rear wheel is a Weinman deep dish and the front is a Campy Vento.

That's a great picture right there. I like the tire tracks leading up to where you are sitting.

Thanks man.

I'm in West Cobb - Acworth/Kennesaw. Lots of nice riding to the West and there is always the Silver Comet.

The water is Lake Acworth which is a non-motorized, dammed off part of Lake Allatoona. The location is Cauble Park in Acworth.

Nice, I used to go to Lake Allatoona years ago to fish. I live in Johns Creek, so the closest fishing spots here are the Hooch and Lanier. I typically ride up in Alpharetta and Milton. Occasionally a few of us meet up and head up to the Gaps to cycle the mountains on Sundays.
