Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I live in a desert. Sue me.

There is about 3 inches of water in that little puddle there. I figured that's plenty.

I just came to the realization that I've never taken a full picture of my roadie near a body of water... all I could find was a picture of myself and some buddies with a part of my cockpit on the edge.[/COLOR]

Anyhow here's a track bike for you:

In spite of the banner, I actually purchased this image.

Me off the front in the rain. Standard crit procedure, right? Rain? Attack! The bump on my back is a sock full of ice... since it was 100F before the rain.

Oh excuse me, I happen to be between norcal & socal (SD) for work/ home. That is in the east bay area. Lake Chabot in Castro Valley, CA. Sorry about getting your hopes up.

I thought it looked too nice to be a SD lake.

I think there's a trade off here. Would you like to trade your SD beaches for norcal lakes?
