I'd take BWW Blackset Race for $329 over either one. The build is similar to the EA70s but they use normal spokes.

I would grab the easton more than nothing because are easy to fix, normal spokes, normal rims and they are pretty much indestructibly compared with the mavic ones. I have beaten the crap outta of a set of vistas and never got a single problem with them.

I've got a buddy with Kysriums that are about 6 years old.. He's got 25k+ miles on them, they were his training wheels when he was racing, and he's never had them apart, or had an issue with them.. That's pretty good press for me..
I've got another buddy that has the Easton Circuits, same as the EA70's and he likes them, but not as much as his Kyseriums.. YMMV
I have a set of Easton EA50's that I bought off him when he got the Kyseriums.. I'm 220+ on a good day and they have a couple of thousand miles on them.. They are super true and roll nice.

if i had to pick between the 2 i would go with the mavic ksyrium elites. i have a set that ive had for about 5yrs and they have been a great bomb proof wheel but i think there are better options out there now for close to that price.

I have Elites and ESs which are both used as travel wheels and get all manor of abuse. Combined 20k - Zero issues.

I'd go with the Easton's... I have a couple pair of the tubular version on the EA70 and I love the wheels. I've ridden a set of the Ksyrium SL's before, and they just didn't seem to spin up anywhere near as fast. On the EA70's I feel like the bike wants to go as soon as I do, and I just don't get that feeling from the mavics. As always, YMMV.
