Serfas products
 

Anyone have any opinions? I got some serfas bibs that are very comfortable, and just bought a serfas saddle today. My seat bag is also serfas. Thoughts on these or other products?

I love Serfas. Very underrated company.

Their Seca RS tires are my go to training tires. I had a Furano saddle by them that has been amazing for the past couple of years, and has held up better than any other saddle I have owned.

Their customer service is also top notch. I had a carbon bottle cage break 4 years after I bought it, and they still replaced it no questions asked.

I highly recommend them.

That's awesome news. I just bought a Furano and really only did so because I knew it was returnable. But it looked very comfortable and wasn't ridiculously heavy.

Which bibs did you buy? The ones I see on their website seem to have a gel chamois.

I also swear by the Seca RS tires. One flat in 18 months with them. The Continental UltraSport's that came on my bike flatted at least monthly.

The flat protection is outstanding. They don't roll as well as my GP4000's, but that's not surprising considering they cost half as much.

Love their tires (secas and drifters), grips and saddles (I've only tried one of their large upright-bike saddles, though)

Pump, tires, saddle, shoe covers, all good for me.

Serfas Seca tires are fantastic, I use em on my Lynskey! cheap, supple ride, and lightweight!

How many miles? I was able to barely squeeze 2K on a set on Seca RS tires (red), but there was an alarming amount of cuts and damage (exposed threads, bulges, holes etc) before I pulled them from my bike. Flat protection was good for about the first 1K and the 2nd 1K I lost track of how many flats that I had there were so many. My tire changing speed did however vastly improve. I will not be using Serfas Seca RS tires again.

I bought a cycle computer was junk never worked. I then went to customer service sent me a new one upgrade and it did not work either. I am a good bike mechanic and my trek computer works great. Bought a cateye to replace the Sefas and it worked perfect. The company did nothing out $60 and would never do business with them again. This one I tried to be nice they simply were too busy and would not communicate well.

I have posted elsewhere here that I got about 2K miles on mine also. They had been wearing fine, but I returned from a long Saturday ride to find my rear tire with several cuts and missing pieces of tread. Despite all that, it did not bulge or burst. I put a new tire on and will be watching it carefully. I am happy that stones and grit do not stick to the Seca's the way it did to my original Continental's, which seemed to flat every 2nd or 3rd ride.

Serfas Stinger RS saddle for me. Despite the name, it's the most comfortable I've ever ridden and I have them on all my bikes.

I have their saddle bag and chainstay wrap on my CAAD9.
Once I figured out the 'proper' technique of securing/adjusting the saddle bag, it has stopped rubbing against the seat bolt. It made a terrible sound for quite some time that I thought was the seatpost.

I had a Serfas MP-3 mini pump, which was amazing. I remember getting a flat and being able to pump the tire up to about 85 psi with it. Sadly, one of my wool jerseys had a hole in the pocket, and I lost it somewhere :(. I replaced it with a Bontrager Air support, which is smaller and lighter, but it doesn't pack the punch that the MP-3 had. I also have one of their computer, which is ok, but it mysteriously reset all of the setting once about a month ago. I've never used another computer, so I can't say how it compares to others.

I love their tires. Over 3k without a single flat. I'm currently trying some Vittoria Paves but I have a feeling I'll go back to the Serfas.

i have a serfas floor pump i've been using for about 6 years and i love it.

when I emailed them about my mount breaking right off my fork they didn't even bother to response back.

I had their wireless computer, what a pile of junk. bad reception everywhere, the sensor never stay in one place. The cadence sensor need 2 different adopter to get it in range, not to mention it looks like I built that thing out of home depot pvc pipes:crash:

not sure which model but i have some gel chamois bibs. im not a big fan, hte chamois is to thick where it needs to be minimal. over the course of a long ride it bunches up in the middle, and heads straight upward into my taint cutting off circulation and causes sever pain by the end of the ride. they are good for about 40 miles, after that im in misery. the do seem to be made well, i would get other products but not another set of gel bibs.

I have been using the Seca tires for a few years, wear Serfas sunglasses, and ride in Serfas shoes. All so far so good. Very happy with what I got for my money.
