Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Father's Day Gift

My daughter had this print mailed to me today. She lives about 5 hours away from me. The items on the print are all bike parts/tools. I need to get a frame for it now.

GodSpeed is the wording.

Very nice! My daughter's 4 months old so I'll probably just get some crying and dirty diapers.

...if you're lucky.

We've been there. Have fun with that. Enjoy it while you can.

For this father's day my wife keeps saying, "What do you want? Oh, I know you probably wan us to go somewhere else so you can be alone and do bike things. No you probably just want to build wheels all day. *sigh*"

I haven't seen my kids on Father's Day in about 5 yrs... they spend a few weeks in the summer at gramma/grampa's place (12 hours away)... i guess you could say that's their gift to me and the wife...

Thanks. I have a 3 y.o. son too but at least I can cart him around in the kid carriage attached to the back of my mountain bike.

My wife keeps asking me what I want to do to as well, and the last time I just said "go to the bike store" and I got no response...

For those that wanted some close up pictures of the print I found the web page where you can even buy one. It also tells of how it is made.
