What's your annual income?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What's your annual income?

Oh yes I did.

Seriously though -- I'm genuinely curious. I searched and couldn't find a previous thread like this, and if there is one it's too old.

Why did I post this is the 41? Because I'm only curious about the road cyclist demographics.

I would suggest not posting yours personally (you can use the poll) unless you are anonymous or you just don't care about everyone knowing.

I'll start though -- my income is... $0. I'm a college student so road bike funds comes out of my savings. In fact, it takes a larger chunk of it than I would prefer

I expect you will find answers all over the map.

If you want higher incomes you should head over to the tri forums. Most tri folk are well off.

A buttload. and that's like 500 dollars.
I really think this thread is in poor taste. I mean have you seen the other posts in the 41, and I think this one is in bad taste?

It shouldn't matter what my annual income is. I pay my bills, buy my toys, support my family, feed them, keep them warm and dry and safe.

The OP wants to see who has the most disposable income, and find out where they live through their Garmin Connect ride uploads, and rob them while they are on their training or group rides.

Any rationale to how you broke out the categories?

Appears prety random. 15,000 increments until the last and then you jump to a $45,000 increment, and then to infinity.

Not sure what the point was, but to the extent there is any point, the poll doesn't seem to be avery well defined tool to address that point.
