Bianchi Brava.
 

Hey guys,
After searching craigslist for a few weeks now, I think I may have found my winner. I found a 2006 Bianchi Brava listed for $350. It was only ridden 50 miles or so according to the seller, and seems like it's pretty nice. I offered him $300 for it, and he's accepting it. So my question is, how do you riders feel about this bike? Is it a good first road bike? Anything I should really pay attention to when it comes to maintenance, upgrades, etc.? Thanks for your thoughts, suggestions, etc...

Your question assumes there's a lot of people in this forum familiar with this bike.

I can assure you that is not the case.

It looks like it's a good entry level frame. Stable looking geometry very typical of Bianchi.

I'm thinking the first things I would do is upgrade the wheels and drive train as my budget permitted.

Assuming it fits you OK. If it doesn't you should be able to re-sell it yourself and not take a loss. $300 sounds about right for one of these in almost new shape.
