Funny you say that. On our group ride Tues I saw two flattened snakes on the road, and 3 charpes (? sp) chased us and one got a face full of water from a guy in the back.

Am I missing something, I didn't see a snake or a dog. By the way, I think dogs are worse than snakes. Dogs will chase you snakes are too slow.

- A snake
- A dog
A bit disappointed. Especially, that we missed seeing the apparently very large snake.

I hate dogs that chase and their owners who don't leash them.
Next time I will bring a stun gun and stun the crap out of the dog. Last time I almost got bit.

I hate loose dogs. Years back I brained a yappy little dog with my portable pump (the kind stored under the top tube) when it was nipping at my heels going up a hill. Owner started yelling at me like its my fault his dog was off a leash trying to maim me.

I passed two timber rattlers the other day basking in the sun. I was not pleased. I was trying out a relatively local rail trail to see if it would be a good place to ride with my girlfriend. There are even signs designating the area as a rattler habitat. Gave me creeps the rest of the day.
