Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fluid Trainer too tough for the wife?

I am about to buy a Cyclops Fluid 2 after reading all the past posts, but the wife if going to use it as well. She can run a marathon, but her cycling legs are not all that strong. Will the Fluid Trainer be too tough?

Absolutely not, just as the cyclops, the easier she spins, the easier the pedal. It will be perfect for her.

Godd Luck

I have the fluid Cycleops four years now and LOVE it. It simulates the road feel with progressive resistance. I recomend setting it up in view of a tv. Me, personally I watch bicycle and Ironman races on dvd or vhs while on my trainer in the cold winter months.
