Sram stuff
 

Hey I have the opportunity to get a full Sram Force setup with Red shift levers for just under $500. Right now I have full 105 components now and I put probably about 100 to 250 miles a week during the summer depending on the amount of work I have.

What do you guys think? Obviously it's a good deal, but I've never ridden Sram before and I here it's amazing from anyone who rides it.

I really like it but can't say if you will. I would try it for $500 though, you can always get your money back out of it.

I've only tried apex, but thought it was really nice. like lowcel said, at worst, you can make some money.

I've read about the ZeroLoss from them in the Red shifters and the fact that the is NO float sounds amazing. I've fixed bikes with Rival and I really like the Double Tap system.

Do it! The red and force shifters are amazing. I don't find that big of a difference between Rival and Force Groupsets save for the crank...but even then...

DoubleTap is sweet and a LOT of fun I think, you can semi-auto the entire cog. It WILL make you smile every single time you load up for a descent.
