Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Cool Summer Jerseys

https://www.performancebike.com/bikes...551_1103205_-1

I just bought this jersey at Performance Bike. They were having a Pearl Izumi "sale" and this one just jumped out at me. I love the yellow/black/grey combo. These jersey's aren't cheap but damnit! I've tried the inexpensive ones and they just don't function as well.

What is your current favorite? Where is it available?

I like (and have) Vermarc's version of the Lion of Flanders:

When I first saw it, I knew it was on the "must have" list.

I do like the yellow lion jerseys, nice summer addition... I went for something more "casual" for my HOT summer ride (since in this heat, my evening ride is likely up to a local bar for beers with friends). I was really pleased when I stumbled upon this polo-styled bike jersey... has pockets for my wallet, keys, and cell -- also the same wool material as the perfomance line they carry. A bit pricey, but the quality is very high end and definately a conversation piece whenever I wear it.

Jersey can befound here: https://roadholland.com/shop/products/Den_Haag-24-2.html
