I got stared at by a Triathlete

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I got stared at by a Triathlete + Stare at Liz Hatch

I was cruising along with my brother on his cheap MTB today, going maybe ~10mph, when a skinny little guy wearing an aero helmet and aero bars yells "on your left!" in a high squeaky voice a CAR length to the left of us.

We saw him about 5 minutes later taking a break, but as soon as he saw us around the corner he took off, turned his head, and took a left.

Why so much hate today? All triathletes are hot (given the only ones I "know" are the ones in the road forum and the young lady that rides past my house most days).

I hope there aren't triathletes here who actually take these posts personally. I always find it funny when people take broad generalizations personally.. unless they happen to be like the behavior described of course.
