You could keep your chain clean instead of carrying the wipes. Shave grams on both wipes and chain gunk. :thumb:

Orr, have you tried black bar tape? It does a great job of hiding rear-flat repair "evidence".

Black bar tape?? Never! With the white turning gray on a regular basis, it gives me an excuse to waste more money.

I have a dumb question...Will a CO2 cartridge lose air if you don't use it? It's been months since my last flat (knocks on wood) and I've had the same 2 cartridges in my bag.

Enough to measure, probably. Enough to notice, probably not.

x2. I replaced my saddle because it was black. White for life. <---That's racist.

And lemon pledge works wonders on white bar tape.

I never could get the pressure high enough with a 16g so now I have a Bontrager pump/CO2 combo that lets me pump about 40psi easily into the tire and then blast the 12g into it to get it to around 110. By far the best combination. It also mounts under the bottle cage with the pump on one side and two cartridges screwed onto the other side. Perfect combination paired with a tiny saddle bag (holding a spoon, two tubes, and a tool).
