Felt F75 or BMC SR02? looking for good aluminum.

Alright, I've been searching around and decided against using my older TT bike for a crit bike, and it's come down to these two.

Both have basically the same geometry (Felt has a 1 degree steeper head tube), and both come with full 105 except the Felt has an FSA Gossamer BB30 crank. Saddle and wheels will be replaced on both (I have a saddle I really like and a good powertap wheelset to use), so it seems to come down to the frame.

So yeah, are there any real differences between the two bikes? or should I just grab the one that I think looks better. Both shops are willing to do a full fit and replace bars and stems, and both are ~1,500.

I'd say BMC, but I don't like Felt for some reason. I also prefer 105 cranks to FSA. So, I say BMC.

I would say BMC, looks better IMHO and Shimano rings seem to shift alot smoother than FSA.

I have had a Felt and liked it a lot. Unfortunately it was too big for me. Picked up a BMC Team Machine when CC had their sale last year and was extremely happy. The BMC felt like a very fast bike and while I am not a big person, there was absolutely no flex in the frame. The Felt I had did not inspire confidence at higher speeds, where the BMC just begged to go faster. Whether this was because the Felt was too big (I wound up replacing the stem with an 80mm to get the reach right) or not I can't say, but when descending I would scrub speed due to a wobble that would start to appear. My BMC just recently developed a crack in the seat tube, and it has been replaced with a RM01 RaceMachine. The crack was about an inch long under the front derailleur clamp (It looks like it might have been overtightened), and I thought that I would be jumping through hoops to get it taken care of, but the exact opposite was the case. I sent the pics and the form in and had an answer from BMC within a couple of days. I would have liked them to replace the frame with another SLT, but that was just wishful thinking. so I guess what I am saying is: go with the BMC :-)

No direct experience with Felt, so can't provide a comparison, but my BMC Road Racer acts just as mentioned above. No matter how fast I ride, it begs to go faster. 40+ MPH descents are tight, solid, and inspire confidence. Plus, BMC frames just look fluggin' sick IMHO....

105 crank is a lot better than the Fsa crank

I'll probably pick up the BMC then, the Red one with White accents matches my 29er perfectly, and a better crankset is nice.

BMC, cause BMCs are hot.

If I could get a BMC right now I would. They are sex on wheels.
