I really don't understand how a tire can have a minimum pressure. Max I can understand. But so long as the pressure is sufficient to prevent pinch flats (and achieve the mythical 15% deflection) whether that be 50, 90 or 110 psi, how can running at that pressure damage the tire? I note some tires have min & max, some just have max. Do the ones with the minimum want us to pump higher than really necessary to guard against pinch flats?

We use tubulars in cyclocross because we can run extremely low pressures and reduce the risk of pinch flat or rolling the clincher off of the rim.
If your pressure is low enough that you get pinch flats on the road then "you're doing it wrong." Period.
