It looks like the seatpost changed on the Synapse, which seemed to be troublesome on the 2011.

What's wrong with the seatpost on the 2011?

...I think it's 12 pounds. And expensive. Very expensive.

A couple of months ago Velonews did a write-up on the top comfort bikes and they said a weakness was the pain-in-the-ass to set proprietary seatpost. They also mentioned that Cannondale was going to change that in the 2012 model.

I've been considering a 2011 vs. 2012 Synapse Tiagra, and was thinking about waiting until the 2012s come out because I heard Tiagra was going to 10 speed. That site indicates it's still 9 speed. Huh.

For anyone who's interested. I just ate a bowl of rolled oats with raisins, cinnamon and 2% milk added. It was delicious.

It's pcad...is that even a factor?

just noticed that the CAAD10-4s are now shipping with a s500 crank instead of force crank. boo!

I, however, am glad i picked up this years model...
