2012 Cannondale models

For anyone who's interested.

2012 Cannondale Models

My wife and I will be getting the 2011 models while they are still available.

mpath 07-21-11 07:42 PM

Huh?

Velo Gator 07-21-11 07:43 PM

I can rest easy tonight knowing this.

patentcad 07-21-11 07:44 PM

No Cervelo for you.

pixelharmony 07-21-11 07:46 PM

I like the "raw" brushed aluminum frame on the caad10-4

Grasschopper 07-21-11 07:51 PM

Well that was next to worthless. WHAT CHANGED ON THE 2012 SYNAPSE?!?!?

I saw the raw CAAD10 before...that is nice.

patentcad 07-21-11 07:56 PM

The Super Six Evo is awfully nice.

Jay-W 07-22-11 12:54 AM

It looks like the seatpost changed on the Synapse, which seemed to be troublesome on the 2011.

hsj 07-22-11 10:06 AM

What's wrong with the seatpost on the 2011?

...I think it's 12 pounds. And expensive. Very expensive.

A couple of months ago Velonews did a write-up on the top comfort bikes and they said a weakness was the pain-in-the-ass to set proprietary seatpost. They also mentioned that Cannondale was going to change that in the 2012 model.

Steve90068 07-22-11 12:47 PM

Did that dude just Google something for me? TGIF

DP Roberts 07-22-11 01:18 PM

I've been considering a 2011 vs. 2012 Synapse Tiagra, and was thinking about waiting until the 2012s come out because I heard Tiagra was going to 10 speed. That site indicates it's still 9 speed. Huh.

For anyone who's interested. I just ate a bowl of rolled oats with raisins, cinnamon and 2% milk added. It was delicious.

I'm using my first post to say "Great thread!"

Yeah, I am drooling all over that one too. It is sitting in my LBS, all built up (for someone else). . . someone who can afford it!

seejohnbike 07-22-11 04:06 PM

just noticed that the CAAD10-4s are now shipping with a s500 crank instead of force crank. boo!

I, however, am glad i picked up this years model...
