Has anyone any experience with buying from www.performancebike.com? I'm would like to get something sent to New Zealand, but wondered if they were reliable. Any information would be appreciated, but especially is it was from soemone outside the US whose used them.

they are butt slow

i swore them off during my last purchased, but just made another order cuz i cant resist the deal :(

I always get my orders fast in Hawaii. 3 of 4 times they have been right. Super prices with the 20% off coupons makes it worthwhile for me to take the risk. There are several looooong threads about Performance here if you use the search function.

Thanks, I'll have a look for the other threads. I want to order fro Christmas, so delivery time isn't a problem - I hope!

I've had bad experiences with Performance but one of my friends has had the opposite. I personally have found that JensonUSA has equally low prices if not lower and better service overall. I recently ordered some stuff from Texas Cyclesport and was pretty happy with their turnaround times too. As far as shopping for prices, BestBikeBuys is an excellent price-tracking resource for comparing on-line shops.

Hmmm...international shipping, hard to say. Have a backup plan ready. Don't let it go on the slow boat.
