Not just us 'nobodies' having trouble with cars

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Joey Harrington seriously injured in bicycle accident
By Chris Chase
Former No. 3 pick Joey Harrington was seriously injured on Sunday night when a bicycle he was riding was hit by an SUV.

Harrington remains in a Portland, Ore., hospital with a broken collar bone, punctured lung and a cut on his head. The injuries are not life threatening and the former Detroit Lions quarterback is expected to be released on Tuesday.

Clearly we all ride bikes because we're too poor to afford cars.

Yep I take all my dates on bike rides so I don't have to tell them that I don't own a car

And who's to say he's not a "newbie." Until proven otherwise, I say that he's a newbie and that's why he had trouble with a car.
