Illegally parked cars in the bike lanes

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It would be nice if mayors in the US took this approach to keeping bike lanes clear. A bit aggressive, but a bit funny too!

I was all for it until he got on his electric scooter and rode down the bike lane!

Ahhh yes...smashing things with tanks. You can take the Lithuanian out of Russia, but you can't take the Russian out of Lithuania.

Nice! Two things come to mind, though.

First, use a REAL tank, not an Armored Personnel Carrier (APC). Then you could pick up the car with a spatula.

Next, sweeping up the debris post “crush” was impressive and showed a touch of class. Here in Los Angeles the authorities stopped sweeping up glass and debris from accidents 30 years ago. Our streets are a mess.

Bike lanes are *not* automatically no-parking zones, you know.

doesnt mean i wont yell at the damn cop obstructing the bike lane(no lights no nothing, NOT an emergency btw), or the stupid person that pulled into the bike lane to chat with someone on the sidewalk.

I noticed that. Looks like a very clean city, similar to how clean Singapore is.

They are in California, with exceptions only for emergency and delivery vehicles.
