Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What's your excuse?

Just noticed there are 146 folks currently viewing this thread. It's Friday night, don't you have something better to do?

I have a good excuse... worked late to do an upgrade and now I'm just waiting on my ride.

What's your excuse?

Worked late at home, and now the baby is "learning to fall asleep on his own" down the hall (read as "wailing like hell"), so floating around to keep my mind off the blood curdling screams........not that bad, really, he just fell asleep....but you parents know the deal.

Can't wait to ride tomorrow after being away for work all week.....

I am at work. I usually don't post many threads at home. I try to find time to ride when not at work, even though it has been very tough lately.

Had a huge AP Bio test today, need to do something relaxing. Didn't have time for a ride as I had to mow the lawn, pull weeds and help my little sister with her math homework. More yardwork tomorrow I'll probably end up riding on sunday or monday, whenever I get a new helmet...
