Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

what bike would be best for me.

Im just getting started really enjoy ridding on what i have now ( nishiki westwood mnt bike 1986). Im looking to replace it with something a little more suited for ridding longer distances, mainly for exercise and a little peace and quite.I like trek 1000,cannondale 800 triathlon,Felt S32 triathlon, trek 7.3/7.5 FX,and Fugi seems to make a really nice bike as well .1 thing im not all that sure of is what size in cm's i should be looking at im 5'8". I plan on spending $700.00 maybe a little more if the bike is that much more worth it. I can comfortably ride 20 miles now on a 25 yr old mntn bike so I can only imagine what a real nice bike could do for me.any input would be greatly appricated ,Thanks Gary Feel free to give me a call if you rather .609-602-0701 S.Jersey

You can't really figure out what size frame you need based on how tall you are. You might have long legs and short arms, or the opposite, or you might be completely normal. Best to test ride the bikes you're interested in.
