Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

thats pretty good weight for such heavy components. Have fun and enjoy! Though fair warning.....it gets addicting.

Dude, love the bike. But what's the deal with the reflectors and the Air Jordans?

Hey thanks guys! Surely, you jest. Those are Air Jordan SPD of the Shimano world. They actually work pretty well and will serve my purposes nicely. Reflectors? Are you kidding? We need go-ball lights, neon tubes, to ride around in this town. The population has increased by 2 million in the last 20 years in Toronto. It can be dangerous here with clip-ins as there are streetcar tracks too.

My first impression is that it is a very solid frame with a thick bottom bracket. It is very compact compared to the road bikes of 20 years ago with a high seatpost extended like a time trial bike. It is smaller than my 2008 FCR 3 and more nimble. This is also because of the width and weight of the comparative wheels and tires. I got 700 x 25 tires put on, but you still have to be cautious compared to 32.

Thanks for the posts and let me know if you have any questions.

Yes, they can make minimalist like a Bowery or brand the hell out of the bike. One thing I didn't love were the graphics. I just don't think the look will last. Some of the fixies had great clean lines. Also, Argon 18 and Cervelo definitely have more icon based designs.
