You Shall All Covet The New Addiction

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I sent Keith an email and asked him that since he's on national TV now I thought he would forget the little people. He replied and told me not to worry so much.

I haven't posted pics of the P3 with the Di2 TT upgrade because I can't handle you morons wringing your hands over the exposed Di2 wires. I have enough stupid in my life already.

But that P3 TT bike does totally rock with the Di2. Takes some getting used to, with the buttons on the cow horns I have a habit of inadvertently hitting the button that drops the chain to the little ring in front. It also takes some familiarity to remember what buttons do what (not as intuitive as the road bike setup). The lower button drops the chain to the smaller cogs in the rear and the big ring in the front (you have to remember that the upper button makes it a lighter gear, the lower button a stiffer gear, both front and rear). Makes it easier to handle the bike and be in the right gear. Big help on a TT rig.

Oh for Christ sake, don't tell me they didn't internally route your wiring on that bike either? Cervelo engineers spent all that time coming up with internal cable routing to save a few watts, and your LBS cluster farked it all up. In any event post some pics old man.

So apparently a chain law in co means you must have chains on your tires in some situations or it is illegal. Meanwhile in NJ it is illegal to ever have chains.

Not that anyone in NJ would have the sense to use them, but they are legal to use when road conditions warrant. NJSA 39:3-73

27 miles today. Orange County is a semi-disaster area. Roads out, pavement washed away, bridges close. It's no Oklahoma tornado alley, but it's as bad as I've seen it around here. 1/3 of area residents lost power. We did not (so far).

Here is Di2 done right on a S5. Well almost they could of hidden the battery in the seat tube, but at least they internally routed the wiring.

No pics for you.

I ride my gear, I don't discuss it with the imbeciles of BF.

Much.

Hey, I didn't ride the S2 all week. P3 and the last couple of days, the Ibis Ti. Next week I have to get out on the MTB in the woods after they drain out for a few days.

Good thing you added the "much". I was about to start waiving my BS flag.

I only rode my S2 once last week. Been riding the cross bike, and the bmx. Slipped a pedal yesterday on the bmx. Took a good bit of skin, and flesh off. No more dirt jumping w/o shin guards for me.

BTW PCAD, I saw a Prius with a P2 on top of it today on the freeway. It made me think of you. I also thought, why is this idiot negating the aero benefits of his Prius, when his bike will fit in the car?
